Homeowner’s Perspective: Living in a Passive House (Tour of Acorn Glade)

Join us at the Acorn Glade Phius Source Zero house for a project tour and homeowner’s perspective. Jen and Tom Smith will provide insights into their 6 years in this Phius certified Net Zero house, and architect and CPHC Tom Bassett-Dilley will discuss the design concepts, and how this house advanced best practices in design, particularly for mechanical systems.

Note on parking: parking is NOT available on site for general attendees, but the driveway can hold a few cars for those who are mobility impaired. The site is a short walk across a grassy field from Puffer School, where there is ample parking. The house address is 4737 Puffer Road, Downers Grove.
