Tierra Linda Tour / Solstice Party
June 20, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Summer is almost here and we’re kicking it off with some building science fun. The evening starts with a mid-construction tour of the Tierra Linda PHIUS+ project, the first ever multi-family Passive House in Chicago. We’re then heading up the street to mingle at the Eco Achievers’ Annual Summer Solstice Party! It’s a great eve to chat air barriers, thermal bridging, and more as we toast to the awesome Chicago high performance building community that we’re so proud to be part of.
Agenda
• 5:30 – 6:30 pm: Tierra Linda Tours
• 6:45 pm: Summer Solstice House Party at 1924 N Drake, a new SFH home built by McKinley Design (did we mention it came in at .7 ACH?)
There will be live music, games, appetizers, drinks, and merriment, so come join the fun!
Special thanks to all of our event partners and the Tierra Linda project team: LUCHA, Linn-Mathes, Passive House Alliance – Chicago, and Landon Bone Baker Architects.
Event Notes:
• The building tours will be done during mid-construction. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a hard hat if you have one.
• Parking will be limited in this residential area, so please consider carpooling or taking public transit.
• We are working towards a no/low waste event, so please bring your favorite glass or mug for beverage enjoyment.
See you there!
