A preview of the upcoming 2018 GreenBuilt Home Tour on July 28th & 29th!

We're leading off 2019 with Passive House 101--a great place to start. Tom Bassett-Dilley, James Ortega of PHIUS, and Tony Holub will present on the Whys, Hows, and Examples of Passive House design and building in the US.

Our February meeting will focus on lessons learned in design, construction, and certification. Lindsey Elton of EcoAchievers, PHIUS Rater, and Tom Bassett-Dilley, architect and CPHC, will present on things to look out for with regard to mechanical system design, testing and verification, energy modeling, and construction

PHIUS+ Certification is a performance based standard and compliance is verified through energy modeling and on-site quality insurance inspections. Building performance monitoring is important to ensure that a project has met the energy & carbon reduction goals anticipated through PHIUS+ Certification.
